In case you didn’t know, from the 31st of August to the 1st of November you can catch the Blackpool Illuminations lighting up the world famous promenade. The Big Switch On with take place on the evening of the 31st of August and we cant wait!

The line up includes Ella Eyre, Jonas Blue, Diversity, Club MTV DJs R3wire & Varski and MTV Presenter Becca Dudley. Head on down to Blackpool Tower for this colossal event, it promises to be the most spectacular event in the resorts calendar and its FREE!

The celebration will start with a “Blackpool Introduces” showcasing the best of talent from across the UK, prior to the start of the main show. Lets not forget the secret celebrity guest who will do the honors of pulling the switch to launch 2018 Blackpool Illuminations season. Who do you think it will be?

20,00 free wristbands will be given out for the Blackpool Illuminations Switch On 2018. The event will take place at the famous Blackpool Tower Festival Headland which is one of the most iconic outdoor music venues in the UK.
